Your Room

You can expect that every room, regardless of residence hall, will be furnished with a bed, desk, desk chair, closet or wardrobe, and a chest of drawers.  Each room has Wi-Fi access. Make sure to read our rules and recommendations for what to bring (and what not to bring).

Decorating
We want you to feel at home while living in the residence hall so feel free to decorate your room! We simply ask that you follow the guidelines set out below:

  • Drillings holes in the wall of a residence hall room is prohibited. Instead, we recommend using 3M Command Strips or a similar product. Posters, pictures, and other decorative objects may be attached to interior surfaces of the rooms with the understanding that the resident will be held financially responsible for any resulting damages.
  • All furniture assigned to a room upon check-in must remain in the room and cannot be stored in any other location.  Before purchasing additional furniture, consult with your roommate.
  • Residents cannot bring in mattresses due to fire code. Mattress toppers or mattress pads are acceptable.
